Rodding eyes

Rodding eyes are installed to make access points for underground drainage systems. They allow straightforward inspection and cleaning of pipework and are typically installed at changes of direction or junctions where rodding equipment can be used. On-site, you’ll commonly be fitting rodding eyes within access chambers or at ground level, including a sealed or lockable rodding eye cover. The parts are designed to make sure rodding tools can travel the length of pipe without obstruction.

Rodding eyes are often made of PVCu, HDPE or aluminium components durability, as well as compatibility with modern drainage layouts. You’ll usually install a rodding eye at the base of soil stacks, along horizontal runs, or near property boundaries to meet building regulations.
