The Polythene Vapour Control Layer 1000 Gauge 4m x 25m is a medium-specification, single-ply blown polythene membrane designed to control water vapour and improve airtightness within insulated wall, roof and floor constructions. Manufactured from virgin grade polythene with a translucent green tint, this vapour control layer (VCL) helps reduce interstitial condensation and minimise air leakage, supporting overall thermal performance and moisture management in timber frame and other insulated structures. It meets CE approval to BS EN 13984 and is typically installed on the warm side of the building envelope as part of a complete air and vapour control system.
