Angle nails

Angle nails, also known as angled nails, are typically used for fixing mouldings, skirting, architraves, and other internal trims where access is difficult. They’re designed to be applied at an angle with a nail gun, helping reduce surface damage and allowing a cleaner finish around tight corners or confined spaces. Common sizes include 16-gauge angled finish nails, which provide a balance between holding strength and minimal marking, especially useful for visible joinery work.

Unlike straight collated nails, angled nails fit tools with inclined magazines, making them better suited for precise tasks in cabinetry and second fix joinery. Angled brad nails, a finer variant, are often chosen for more delicate work such as panel fastening or fixing thin beading. Available in various finishes and pack sizes, most are galvanised to resist corrosion and ensure long-term hold.
