2. Do you need to cut Isover Spacesaver rolls?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, only minimal cutting is needed. Standard Isover Spacesaver rolls are supplied in a Combi-Cut format, meaning they’re pre-perforated to common joist widths such as 386mm and 580mm. This allows you to split the roll into the correct size on site without measuring each run.

If you are using Isover Spacesaver Ready Cut, even less cutting is needed. These rolls are pre-cut into fixed-width sections designed to fit typical joist centres, so they can be installed directly between joists.

Additional trimming may still be needed around loft hatches, edges, or irregular spacings, but both formats are designed to reduce cutting time and maintain install speed.
