The Vandersanden Old Farmhouse brick is a red facing brick that gives the aged look of a reclaimed brickwork. Made of Weichsel loam, these stock bricks are manufactured in the hand-formed style at Vandersanden’s site in Lanklaar, Belgium. They’re manufactured to a standard height of 65mm and have good durability and compressive strength, suitable for a wide range of facing brick uses.
Vandersanden Old Farmhouse bricks have rich red multi-tones, with varied accents including white, ochre, brown-black, and grey. They have a textured, sanded-grained look with distressed edges created by tumbling the bricks before firing them. This gives Old Farmhouse blend facing bricks a classic, reclaimed aesthetic with natural colour variation and artisanal charm.
