1. What size concrete fence post do I need?

The size depends on the height of the fence panel, as well as ground conditions. For a standard 6ft fence panel, an 8ft concrete fence post is normal, allowing 2ft of the post to be set below ground. This gives enough stability and is common practice in the UK. For taller fencing or exposed sites, longer posts or deeper footings may be needed.

2. Can I mix slotted and end posts?

Yes. Use slotted posts for the main run and concrete end posts at the end point for structural support.
