1. Are Marley ridge and hip tiles available to match both clay and concrete tile profiles?

Yes. Marley offers ridge and hip tiles in both clay and concrete, with angles and profiles tailored to match their full range.

For concrete profiles, Marley supplies concrete segmental, angled and third‑round ridge/hip tiles, available in standard. These fittings are fully compatible with Marley’s Ventilated Dry Ridge and Hip systems such as RidgeFast and HipFast.
For clay tile profiles, Marley offers clay half‑round, plain angle, capped angle and decorative ridge tiles in styles such as ball-top, fleur-de-lys, hogs‑back and club‑crested. These are supplied in traditional clay colours (reds, browns) to match their clay roof tiles. Also compatible with Marley’s dry-fix systems or mortar-bedded options.

2. Can Marley roof tiles be used with solar panels?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Marley produce their own SolarTile® system - tiles designed to integrate solar panels with their complete roof tile range. It replaces sections of standard tiles with photovoltaic panels.

3. Does Marley still make Monarch and Eternit tiles?

Accepted Answer

No, Marley does not currently manufacture Monarch or Eternit profile tiles. Marley Eternit and Monarch tiles are now only available as reclaimed or second‑hand stock from salvage dealers and reclamation yards.

4. Do Marley clay and concrete roof tiles have different profiles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Marley clay tiles are typically smaller plain or pantile formats laid double‑lap, suited to steeper pitches. Marley concrete tiles are larger interlocking or pantile designs installed with a single lap, compatible with pitches as low as 12.5°–17.5°.
