Sheet materials, also known as sheet timber or wood board, are flat, panelled products made from wood or wood-based fibres. They include plywood, MDF, OSB, and chipboard. Sheet timber is sold in large, flat panels (typically 2400mm x 1200mm in the UK) and is used where wide, flat coverage is needed - such as subfloors, walls, roofs, and loft boards.
